Devices will not connect to the Event Server

Solution #1: Check the Network

 

  1. Ensure that the Event Server and other devices are connected to the same network.
  2. Check that the Event Server shows the following IP Address in the bottom-centre of the screen:
    192.168.0.10
    If the IP Address varies from this, please contact the Envisage Support Team immediately.

Solution #2: Check the Settings on Other Devices 

 

For iOS devices using the Engage360 app:

  1. Open the iOS Settings and find the Engage360 tab.
  2. Ensure that the following settings are being used:
  • Use Event Server: ON
  • Hostname: proxy.envisagenyedc.com 

For Android devices using the Engage360 app:

  1. Open the Engage360 app.
  2. Tap the Android Menu button, and then tap the Settings option.
  3. Ensure that the following settings are being used:
  • Use Event Server: ON
  • Hostname: proxy.envisagenyedc.com

Solution #3: Ensure the Event Server has been Logged into an Event

 

  1. On the Event Server, check that you are currently logged into an event. Login if you haven't done so already.
  2. Restart the Engage360 and/or eCam360 apps on all other devices, including iOS and Android devices.
